The RB3000 is hand-built at Rega's factory in England, and each unit undergoes precise measurement and calibration. Its bearings are hand-selected to form a perfect interference-fit connection with the spindle – resulting in nearly frictionless movement, allowing the stylus to track the groove with extreme accuracy.

The tonearm's structure is designed to minimize all mechanical joints. The RB3000's one-piece body construction improves rigidity and reduces energy loss. The redesigned tonearm tube is both lighter and stiffer than its predecessor, and its mass distribution is optimized around the bearings.

The RB3000 utilizes a low-capacitance phono cable and a direct-coupled RCA solution with only two contact points – the signal travels interference-free and without additional connections.

The RB3000 is particularly suitable for the Rega Planar 8, Planar 10 and Naia models, but can also be installed on other turntables with a mounting distance of 222 mm.

The precise dimensions of the tonearm make it an ideal match for high-quality MC cartridges, such as the Rega Aphelion 2 and Apheta 3.
