The Rega RB880 has been developed with four decades of experience and utilizing the most modern 3D CAD/CAM design, ensuring that every component works in perfect harmony. The tonearm is designed to provide maximum mechanical stability, minimal resonance, and sonic transparency that reveals every detail from your record.

The new aluminum vertical bearing housing and stainless steel spindle significantly improve the structural rigidity of the arm. This reduces unwanted vibrations and ensures balanced, controlled movement. Each RB880 is hand-assembled and calibrated at Rega's factory in England.

The arm's effective mass and moment of inertia distribution have been optimized using Rega's own analysis method, ensuring ideal compatibility with Rega and other high-quality cartridges. Bearing friction is practically measurable only under laboratory conditions – in practice, completely imperceptible.

Included is Rega's new low-capacitance phono cable with a two-part RCA connector solution, featuring minimized contact points to ensure signal purity.

The RB880 is suitable for most turntables with a 222 mm mounting distance. It is particularly well-suited for the Rega Planar 6, Planar 8, and Planar 10 models.
