Rega Advanced EBLT – Upgrade Drive Belt
Custom-manufactured, high-quality Advanced EBLT drive belt. Each belt is cast using high-precision custom tools with a unique blend. After molding, the belts are cryogenically frozen to achieve perfect cross-sectional roundness – this is crucial for precise speed and stability. In normal use, the Advanced EBLT has a 50% longer lifespan than the previous model.
Standard equipment in several Rega models
The Advanced EBLT is standard equipment in the following Rega turntables: Planar 1, Planar 1 Plus, Planar 2, Planar 3 and Planar 6.
Measured accuracy
Wow/Flutter measurements on the same Planar 1 player: standard belt 0.253% → Advanced EBLT 0.162% → Reference EBLT 0.075%. The improvement is clear and audible.
