We are delighted to introduce the new matte-finish Planar 1 turntable. Every detail of the Planar 1 has been meticulously designed to enhance performance. The Planar 1 uses a custom 24V silent synchronous motor, which reduces vibration, along with a handmade RB110 tonearm featuring Rega-designed, ultra-low friction bearings. We have also incorporated our latest drive belt technology, the EBLT belt, which offers improved accuracy and enhanced rotational speed performance. A new special edition: Walnut Effect finish was introduced in September 2022, made from the same rigid, high-quality laminate as the matte P1. This is a striking, high-quality, and realistic finish, supplied as standard with a darkened dust cover to highlight the design.
