This ESB subwoofer is a precision speaker designed to deliver very high quality sub-bass frequency performance in a car. To maximize the performance of this subwoofer, we strongly recommend using your own enclosure. The included data sheet provides
technical specifications and two recommended enclosures: one is a sealed enclosure; the other is a ported design. Both enclosure types provide excellent sound quality and low frequency extension. The sealed enclosure is a better choice if the space is very tight, while the ported enclosure provides 3dB more volume at the same power output if additional space is available.
