ESB Audio 3.10D2 Car Subwoofer

This ESB subwoofer is a precision speaker designed to deliver extremely high-quality sub-bass frequency performance in a car. To maximize the performance of this subwoofer, we strongly recommend using a dedicated enclosure.

The included technical data sheet contains specifications and two recommended enclosures: one is a sealed enclosure; the other is a ported design. Both enclosure types provide excellent sound quality and low-frequency extension. The sealed enclosure is a better choice if space is very tight, while the ported enclosure produces 3 dB more volume with the same power, if additional space is available.

Enclosure Recommendation

Both sealed and bass-reflex enclosures are suitable for the subwoofer. A sealed enclosure is a better option due to space constraints, while a bass-reflex enclosure produces 3 dB more output with the same power. More detailed enclosure recommendations can be found in the included data sheet.
