GAS MAD PB2-48 – The baddest soundbar on the market

Inside the enclosure, you'll find four 8" mid-range/mid-bass speakers from the MAD PM2-84 series and horn tweeters (PT2-254). Both feature, among other things, a copper ring that reduces distortion. This speaker combination works excellently together, producing both high-quality and insanely loud sound, at a reasonable price!

Smart design

The MAD PB2-48 is intelligently designed! The external dimensions of the MAD PB2 series are slightly larger than its smaller siblings, the MAD PB1-48 and MAD PB1-46. GAS has made the enclosures deeper to produce even more mid-bass – something you'll surely appreciate. And that's not all. At the ends of the enclosure, you'll find a reflex port that ensures optimal sound pressure. Do you want to place the "soundbar" on top of or near a subwoofer enclosure? In that case, install the included MDF boards and cover the ports. This way, the enclosure becomes sealed and integrates better with your sub.

Four beefy 8" mid-bass drivers

In the development of the PM2-84, GAS has learned from both the PSM84 and its little brother, the MAD PM1-84. The resonant frequency is an impressive 70 Hz! The design differs significantly from the PM1 series. You'll find a black coated paper cone, which is extremely durable – and produces amazing sound! The polypropylene dust cap has been updated and stylishly adorned with a stamped GAS logo. The frame has also been improved and is now finished with black textured paint. If you plan to add more speakers – or tweeters – there's now a convenient spade connector to facilitate installation.

New MAD tweeters

The MAD PB2-48 features completely redesigned one-inch GAS MAD bullet tweeters that play really loud! One of the updates to the elements are the wave-patterned waveguides in the speakers, which not only improve sound quality but also broaden the soundstage, meaning more sound over a wider area.

Redesigned terminals

One of the cool features of the GAS MAD PB2-48 are GAS's AST (Active Smart Terminal) terminals. The new terminals allow you to bypass the built-in crossover, enabling you to connect two amplifiers to one Raggar Planka – one for the mids, and one for the tweeters. It would be strange if there wasn't enough sound!
