Submitting a product for review

If you suspect that there is a defect in a product purchased from Audiokauppa Oulu Oy, please first contact our customer service by email at asiakaspalvelu (at) hifikaupat.fi. We will provide instructions for sending the product for inspection.

Inspection Process

  • The product will be tested under the same or similar conditions in which it is intended to be used.
  • After the inspection, we will inform the customer:
    • whether a defect was found in the product
    • the cause of any potential problem
    • what options are available for further action.

Costs if the product has no defect

If the inspection confirms that the product is working correctly and has no manufacturing or device defect (for example, the problem is due to settings, connections, or other usage), we will proceed as follows:

  • The customer is responsible for shipping and return postage costs.
  • The customer will be charged separately for the inspection/service work, starting from €50.
  • Before returning the product to the customer, we will inform them of:
    • the amount of the inspection fee
    • the postage costs
    • any other options (e.g., not returning the product if the customer does not want it back).

The product will not be returned to the customer until the customer has approved the costs and chosen their preferred option.

Costs if the product has a defect

If the product is found to have a defect covered by warranty or statutory liability for defects:

  • The inspection is free of charge for the customer.
  • Audiokauppa Oulu Oy is responsible for reasonable shipping costs and agreed-upon further actions (repair, replacement, or other solution in accordance with the law and terms).

Warranty

Products come with a manufacturer's warranty, the duration of which varies by product. Warranty terms and period can be found in the documents accompanying the product or on the manufacturer's website.
