The Yamaha R-N2000A is a new generation 2-channel high-end network receiver that combines analogue sound quality, digital streaming features and a top-class build. It is designed for demanding listeners who want an authentic, dynamic and emotive sound – without compromise.

TRUE SOUND – music as it was intended

The Yamaha R-N2000A utilizes YPAO room correction, which automatically optimizes the sound according to the room's acoustics. The ESS SABRE ES9026PRO 384 kHz / 32-bit high-quality DA converter ensures exceptional accuracy and dynamics, and the massive toroidal transformer produces a spacious and realistic sound reproduction. The mechanical construction eliminates resonances and brings out the rhythm and depth of the music.

Grounding

To eliminate energy loss and degradation of the audio signal, the R-N2000A model uses thick grounding connection wires, which is a critical feature that makes the components truly premium Hi-Fi equipment in terms of sound quality. Furthermore, the output of the amplifier units features a screw connection to reinforce the ground connection, which is important for sound quality. This gives the R-N2000A a better signal-to-noise ratio and achieves a spacious and natural soundscape that brings the artist and listener closer together.

DEVICE FEET

The robust rigidity of the RN-2000A model is complemented by its specially designed silver-plated brass feet, which enhance the rich, foundational low-frequency response and its nuances.

Symmetrical Construction

The R-N2000A's fully symmetrical design, with the power supply in the center and the power amplifiers evenly on both sides, ensures ideal balance and minimizes interference between channels. The result is exceptionally good channel separation and extremely clean, realistic sound reproduction.

Toroidal Transformer

The R-N2000A utilizes the technical excellence and musicality of a toroidal transformer, which, together with other Hi-Fi components, conveys the feeling of music to the listener. A 3mm brass base under the transformer dampens vibrations, producing a spacious and realistic sound.

HIGH PERFORMANCE DAC

To ensure a clear and transparent soundstage and rich musicality, the R-N2000A uses the ESS ES9026PRO DAC. The four-channel architecture and balanced analog output ensure accurate signal conversion, reproducing the subtle tones and nuances of concert halls.

MECHANICAL STRUCTURE

As in Yamaha's flagship Hi-Fi products, the R-N2000A employs a mechanical grounding concept: feet, heatsinks, power transformer, and block capacitors are bolted directly to the chassis. This reduces vibration and produces powerful, expressive bass that conveys the deep groove of the music.

MusicCast – Multi-room audio wirelessly

With the MusicCast system, you can connect multiple Yamaha devices and play music in different rooms wirelessly. Control is easy with the Finnish-language MusicCast application.

HDMI ARC – TV audio to a new level

The HDMI ARC connection integrates TV audio into your Hi-Fi system with a single cable. The sound of movies and series gains richness and accuracy, elevating the viewing experience to a new level. You can also control the basic functions of the amplifier directly with your TV remote, which facilitates daily use (HDMI CEC support).

The R-N2000A supports high-resolution playback from streaming services and includes a phono input, so you can also enjoy vinyl records without a separate pre-amplifier. The USB DAC function supports DSD and PCM playback – perfect for computer use too.
