High Resolution Touch Screen

The entire system can be operated via the 7″ (17.8cm) touch screen of the X703D-A head unit. The precise and detailed display shows, for example, the navigation map view very clearly, and the user interface is logical. The 7″ touch screen integrates perfectly with your Audi.

Steering Wheel Controls
The X703D-A is compatible with Audi's original steering wheel controls. You can adjust the volume, answer calls, change tracks, and use other functions. You can also start Android Auto or Apple CarPlay voice control with the steering wheel buttons.

Control Panel
Audi's original control panel is replaced by an Alpine panel, which perfectly matches your car's dashboard both physically and in appearance. Thanks to the large buttons, changing program sources, for example, is easy, and you can display, for instance, the rearview camera image with a single press of a button.

Instrument Cluster Info Display
The X703D-A is connected to the Audi instrument cluster. You can see the name of the radio station playing and other information about the program source in the instrument cluster. Navigation instructions from the built-in navigation system also appear in the car's instrument cluster.

Warnings and Notifications
The Audi original display acts as the car's information center. The Alpine display also shows all warning messages from the car (oil level, tire warnings, etc.). You can also get information on the air conditioning and seat heaters, and much more (this depends on the car's original equipment).

Sound System
If your car is equipped with the Audi Sound 9VD or Bang & Olufsen 9VK audio package, you will need the KWE-DY01G6 adapter to connect the X703D-A to the Sound System.

Superior Sound Quality
Alpine is known worldwide for its superior sound quality, and the X703D-A is no exception. The head unit's design already takes into account Audi's acoustics, and you can also make adjustments to the equalizer and channel-specific time alignment settings.

Support for Rearview Camera and Parking Sensors
The X703D-A is compatible with Alpine's Multi-View cameras, allowing you to change camera angles directly from the touch screen. If your car has original parking sensors, you can also display their view on the screen if desired.

KIT-R1AU Camera Adapter for Alpine Camera
Alpine HDR cameras with superior image quality are easy to install with the KIT-R1Au camera adapter. The camera adapter replaces the original tailgate handle and is equivalent in quality to an OEM part.

Entertainment on a Large Screen
The X703D-A allows you to watch video files on the 7″ screen. You can purchase an optional Alpine CD/DVD player, for example. For road safety, video files can only be watched when the car is stationary.

Apple CarPlay
Apple CarPlay offers additional features for iPhone users. You can use Spotify, listen to internet radio or podcasts, and manage calls directly from the Alpine touch screen.
Just connect your Apple device with a USB cable, and all CarPlay functions are available.

Android Auto
The simple and straightforward user interface keeps your eyes on the road, and using phone functions is very easy. Android Auto* automatically brings all interesting information to the head unit's screen and organizes it into cards.
Both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay use the X703D-A's GPS antenna for the most accurate and fastest location information, compared to the phone's own GPS antenna.
Note: Android Auto is pre-installed on Android 10, Android 11, and Android 12 operating systems. If you are using Android 9 or an older version, Android Auto must be installed manually on the phone.

Spotify
You can use Spotify functions on the Alpine display with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The app works with Spotify Basic and Premium accounts, but available features may differ depending on the user account.

DVD-/CD Player
You can also purchase a DVD/CD player for the X703D-A head unit. The DVE-5300X is installed behind the X703D-A control panel and connected with an HDMI cable for the best possible picture and sound quality.

Bluetooth
Built-in Bluetooth allows for wireless phone connection, giving you hands-free functionality, and you can also wirelessly stream music from your phone (e.g., Spotify or various internet radio stations). The Bluetooth software is upgradeable, ensuring compatibility with different phones in the future.

DAB and RDS Radios
In addition to a traditional RDS tuner, the X703D-A includes a DAB/DAB+/DMB digital tuner, which ensures the best possible sound quality and countless digital radio channels compared to traditional FM radio.
Note: DAB/DAB+/DMB broadcasts are not available in Finland.

iGO Primo Navigation

iGo Primo NextGen navigation is one of the best navigation software on the market, and combined with Alpine's powerful processor, navigation and route calculation are incredibly fast. Calculating a thousand-kilometer route takes only a few seconds, and if you deviate from the given route, a replacement route is calculated very quickly.

Navigation in a nutshell:

• Updates can also be purchased for only a desired part of Europe, reducing update costs
• Address search also possible by postal code (this avoids issues caused by similarly named streets close to each other)

TomTom Maps, with three years of free updates
A navigation device is only as good as its map database. The Alpine X703D-A includes TomTom maps for 48 European countries. The maps come with three years of free updates (counting starts when the device first gets a satellite connection). After three years, updates can be downloaded for a fee from www.naviextras.com using a PC, and you can update the entire European map database or alternatively purchase new updates for only the desired area.

The Alpine X703D-A is delivered with the latest maps and software, so once purchased, it is ready for immediate use.

GPS and Glonass Positioning
The more satellites available, the more accurate the navigation. The X703D-A uses Glonass satellites in addition to GPS positioning, which provides even more accurate and reliable location information, especially near tall buildings and when driving in mountainous areas.

One Look Display
Alpine's innovative One Look display allows navigation and audio information to be displayed simultaneously. This eliminates the need to switch through complex menus to view information, allowing you to get all the necessary information at a glance.

Points of Interest (POI)
You can search for interesting POIs (Points of Interest) by name, type, distance, or other search criteria. This makes it easier to find, for example, a favorite restaurant or gas station nearby. Restaurant information also includes phone numbers, so you can easily call and make a table reservation, for instance.

Google Maps - Online Navigation
Let Google Maps guide you to your destination. Google Maps offers lane guidance, real-time traffic information, and spoken guidance in Finnish. Google Maps is available via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Waze - Online Navigation
Waze is the world's largest user-based traffic and navigation application. Join the Waze community and you can share and receive real-time traffic information about, for example, accidents, traffic jams, or police surveillance. Waze is available via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Audi Sound / Bang & Olufsen
If your car was originally equipped with the Audi Sound 9VD or B&O 9VK system, you will need the KWE-DY01G6 adapter. This allows the Alpine unit to be connected to the car's original amplifier.

DVR-C320S Compatibility
This head unit is compatible with the Alpine DVR-C320S dash cam. You can view camera recordings on the head unit's screen and change all camera settings from the touch screen.
