The Wharfedale Diamond 12.3i is a popular floorstanding speaker from the updated Diamond 12i series, continuing Wharfedale's long tradition of offering exceptional sound quality at a very competitive price point. The Diamond series has been the first step into true hi-fi listening for many since 1982 – and the 12.3i takes this tradition even further.

The Diamond 12.3i utilizes Wharfedale's developed Klarity™ polypropylene cone, whose stiffened structure reduces unwanted resonances and improves bass control and the naturalness of the midrange. The sound is balanced, open, and effortlessly pleasing during long listening sessions.

High-frequency reproduction is handled by a 25mm textile dome tweeter, which provides a smooth yet detailed top end without accentuated harshness. The speaker cabinet is designed with Wharfedale's Slot-Loaded Distributed Port bass reflex solution, which improves bass extension and reduces air turbulence noise, as well as making placement in the room easier.

The Diamond 12.3i is excellent for stereo listening, in a study or living room, and as part of a high-quality home theater system. The speaker also performs well with moderately powered amplifiers.
