Taipuu Kero Active Stream
An uncompromising bookshelf speaker manufactured in Finland, competing with the best bookshelf speakers in the world.
Kero is the first bookshelf speaker from the Finnish company Taipuu. Inspired by the nature of Lapland, Kero takes you to the top. Kero means the summit of a fells, so the name already reflects the philosophy behind the speaker – to create a reasonably sized speaker with absolutely no compromises. Taipuu speakers are handcrafted in Kempele, and each speaker is precisely measured to meet its defined specifications.
With a volume of only 15 liters, the Kero is easy to place in any room, both visually and acoustically. The 6.5-inch long-throw bass driver produces astonishingly deep bass, and there are also 6.5-inch passive radiators on the sides of the enclosure. The enclosure is designed using 3D modeling to minimize diffractions.
Kero uses state-of-the-art drivers from the Danish company Purifi. The power handling of the drivers is in a league of its own, and with good amplification, these compact speakers can produce very high sound pressure with minimal distortion when needed.
On the back of the Kero speaker, you'll find a speakon connector. This has been chosen to ensure perfect contact. Speakon connectors are included with Kero speakers. Keros are delivered in a professional transport case, which withstands transport significantly better than a cardboard box, thus ensuring that your Kero speakers arrive in perfect condition. If you don't need this transport case, we will refund €50 when you return it to us. This also reduces waste.
