Supra GSB-TV Interference Eliminator for Antenna Cables
Hum, noise, sparks, uneven picture? In many cases, interference in broadcasts is caused by different ground potentials of electrical equipment, which equalize along the signal cables. The mains power, TV and radio antenna, internet or other devices are not grounded to a single, stable ground point, causing a different ground potential. This leads to a voltage difference between the ground points, which equalizes through the signal cable, thus creating interference in the signal itself.
By adding this interference eliminator, the ground loop is completely galvanically isolated in a 1:1 ratio, so that the potential difference between the transmitter and receiver does not affect the signal. The result is a completely clean signal!
Another similar problem can occur if devices are connected to each other with a signal cable, but the power supplies are out of phase. Stray capacitance due to phase difference can therefore cause interference in the system, especially at high frequencies. Please note that the interference eliminator only removes ground loops in the antenna cable caused by potential differences.
