The Planar 6 RS Edition is based on Rega's philosophy of a lightweight yet extremely rigid construction. The Tancast 8 core combined with aluminum-faced HPL laminate creates a structure that minimizes resonance and ensures stable playback.

RB880 tonearm directly from Planar 8

At the heart of the player is the RB880 tonearm, taken directly from the Planar 8 model. It offers excellent precision, improved tracking, and increased resolution compared to the RB330 tonearm. The included Nd9 moving magnet cartridge completes the package, delivering an open, detailed, and rhythmic sound, ready to use right out of the box.

Double drive belt and Neo PSU MK2

The RS Edition model uses two Reference EBLT drive belts and a precisely machined double pulley, which improve speed stability and reduce vibration. The included Neo PSU MK2 power supply enables electronic speed change and highly accurate motor control.
