Rega Couple 3 RCA interconnect cable
The heart of the Couple 3 cable is high-quality oxygen-free copper (OFC) in a multi-strand construction, surrounded by a highly flexible protective jacket and a 100% shield. The cable's capacitance is only 80 pF, making it particularly suitable for connections between a phono preamplifier and a line input – the cable does not limit the system's dynamics or resolution.
The connectors used are ergonomically designed gold-plated Neutrik RCA plugs with mechanical strain relief. The entire cable is meticulously hand-assembled at Rega's own factory in the UK.
The Couple 3 is perfectly suited for connecting a phono preamplifier to an amplifier, or a preamplifier to a power amplifier. Although designed specifically for Rega systems, it also performs brilliantly in high-end analogue audio systems from other manufacturers – especially when aiming for maximum transparency, detail resolution, and dynamic reproduction.
