Rega Aya - floorstanding loudspeakers

Aya is designed to produce the soundstage of a large speaker in a compact and elegant form – without compromise.

The Aya speaker cabinet is made of Glass Reinforced Cement (GRC). This material offers excellent rigidity without excessive weight, which reduces cabinet resonances and improves sound accuracy. Unlike traditional wooden cabinets, the GRC construction makes Aya acoustically more stable and visually distinctive.

The speaker uses a 2.5-way “band-pass” principle, which provides deep, controlled, and rhythmic bass reproduction. The front-facing bass reflex port simplifies placement in the room, as Aya performs balanced even close to walls.

Rega manufactures all drivers in-house at its English factory: the ZRR tweeter provides a clear and airy high-frequency range without harshness, the MX-125 mid-range/bass (5”) reproduces vocals and instruments with nuance, and the RR7.8 bass (7”) adds depth and power to the music. The combination of these drivers creates a sound that is more open, wider, and more dynamic than most speakers of this size.
