29mm aluminum alloy balanced aluminum dome tweeter. The aluminum alloy housing of the Z tweeter connector allows the tweeter to remain flat and linear in the ultrasonic path. The unique diaphragm shape, developed by HSDOM (Harmonised Synthetic Diaphragm Optimum Method) computer analysis, eliminates differential vibration generated by the diaphragm and improves high-frequency dispersion.

Pioneer's Vertex Drive system improves the mechanical connection between the voice coil and tweeter diaphragm, reducing distortion and ripple caused by low damping and increasing power handling.
