Phoenix Gold ZDSW7CS

The Phoenix Gold ZDSW7CS is a 170mm (7″) component speaker system that fits many different Volkswagen models.

Mid-bass drivers
The component speaker system features robust 7″ mid-bass drivers with a composite frame, paper cone, and powerful ferrite magnet. The mid-bass drivers are designed to fit directly in place of the original Volkswagen speakers.

Tweeters
The ZDSW7CS component speaker system includes Phoenix Gold 1″ silk dome tweeters, which provide a very pleasant and non-fatiguing sound. Like the mid-bass drivers, the tweeters also fit directly into the original Volkswagen speaker locations.

Integrated Crossover
The tweeter cable has an integrated high-pass crossover with a slope of six decibels, meaning no separate installation of crossovers is required.

Installation

Installing the component speaker system is easy. In most cases, the original Volkswagen mid-bass speaker is attached with pop rivets, which need to be drilled out. After this, the speaker fits perfectly into the door, and installation does not require modification of the car's wiring, as all connectors match the original Volkswagen speaker's connectors.
