Phoenix Gold ZDSB100CS 4" separate kit BMW / Toyota Supra

The Phoenix Gold ZDSB100CS is a high-quality separate set that is made to fit the original speaker positions of several BMWs.

Midrange
The midrange is made of solid cast aluminum drivers with a sandwich composite cone. The speaker fits perfectly into the original BMW speaker slot and there are integrated sealing rings on the top and bottom of the driver to ensure a proper fit in the car. The connectors correspond to the original BMW connectors, so the original speaker cables fit directly into the drivers.

Trebles
The tweeters in the ZDSB100CS stand-alone series are Plug & Play, just like the midbasses. To make installation easier, the crossover is integrated into the tweeter cable.
The tweeter has a fabric dome, which has a very pleasant and effortless sound.

Connectors and crossovers
The set can be installed in two different ways.
You can bring the speaker wire from your car's original midrange to the Phoenix Gold midrange and the wires from the midrange to the Phoenix Gold tweeter. In this case, the set is 100% plug & play.
However, we recommend using the crossovers that come with the separate kit, in which case the car's original speaker wire is brought to the crossover input and separate wires for the Phoenix Gold midrange and tweeter come out of the crossover.
This is a better option in terms of sound and as an "extra job" only requires attaching the crossover to the inner door panel, e.g. with cable ties.
