Ortofon Stylus 2M Red Replacement Stylus

The Ortofon Stylus 2M Red is an elliptical replacement stylus for the popular Ortofon 2M Red phono cartridge. It is an excellent choice for hi-fi enthusiasts who want quality sound reproduction at an affordable price.

All 2M series replacement styli are cross-compatible — so you can upgrade the stylus to a better model within the same series. However, please note that 2M Bronze and Black cartridges have a higher quality body than the Red and Blue models: a 2M Black stylus on a 2M Red body will significantly improve the sound, but will not provide full performance. Likewise, a 2M Red stylus is a clear step down in quality for a 2M Bronze or Black cartridge.
