Marmitek BoomBoom 100 Bluetooth AptX receiver / transmitter
Transmit audio from your TV to headphones or from your smartphone to an audio system.The BoomBoom 100 is a Bluetooth audio transmitter and receiver in one.
In receiver mode (RX), you can stream CD-quality music from your smartphone, PC or tablet to an audio system, while in transmitter mode (TX), it wirelessly transmits audio from your TV, for example, to Bluetooth headphones. To switch from receiver (RX) to transmitter mode (TX), simply move the switch on the BoomBoom 100 to the other position. Easy!
The BoomBoom 100 features both analog and digital audio input and output, and supports aptX, aptX Low Latency, and AAC connections. If your smartphone or tablet also has aptX (Android) or AAC (iOS), it enables wireless Bluetooth playback in virtually CD quality.
To take advantage of aptX Low Latency® when streaming audio from your TV to Bluetooth headphones, the latter must also support aptX Low Latency. With this in mind, you can use headphones like the BoomBoom 577 model. Lip-sync issues are only avoided if both the transmitter and receiver are equipped with aptX Low Latency. In this case, there will be no frustratingly long delay between the image and its accompanying sound.
The BoomBoom 100 also has a great extra feature that allows audio to be transmitted from, for example, a TV to two pairs of headphones simultaneously!
