Klipsch RP-500M II Bookshelf Speaker Pair

The new generation of the Klipsch Reference Premier series updates the previous lineup with, among other things, completely redesigned drivers and a 90 x 90 Tractrix tweeter horn, increased power handling and maximum sound pressure level, and a significantly stiffer enclosure structure than before. The connectivity has also been improved.

Klipsch's 90° x 90° Tractrix tweeter horn produces live-like detail and responsiveness with clean and natural sound reproduction. The new generation Tractrix horn, now larger in size, produces a wider soundstage and more controlled directivity.

The Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter is one of Klipsch's most significant creations, having garnered praise and reputation worldwide! The LTS tweeter element's reproduction minimizes distortion for better and more distinct sound reproduction. An open tweeter housing reduces standing waves that produce unwanted resonances, resulting in more detailed and clear high-frequency reproduction.

A special feature of the Reference Premier series, the Cerametallic copper woofer, has also been updated. The driver is extremely rigid and lightweight to minimize distortion and achieve better performance. The new voice coils are 70% larger in diameter than the previous ones, which translates to better power handling and more flawless reproduction. The Tractrix bass port reduces turbulence and distortion, thereby improving bass reproduction.

The high-quality MDF enclosure structure with renewed internal bracing reduces cabinet vibrations for more uncolored and better sound accuracy.

In appearance, the RP-500M II is elegantly streamlined. Thoughtful details, such as the magnetic grille, give the speaker a finished and modern look. Cork feet replace rubber ones to protect the stand or tabletop.
