The completely redesigned 90° x 90° Tractrix horn in the Klipsch R-40M bookshelf speakers raises the bar for audio reproduction. Horn technology delivers a powerful, detailed, and emotional live sound experience with the purest and most natural sound possible. The horn's even larger external dimensions allow for directional control over a wider frequency range. This results in better high-frequency directionality and an even more precise soundstage.

The drivers feature Klipsch's 1" aluminum tweeter in a Tractrix horn and a 4" TCP woofer made of spun copper.

The streamlined R-40M has refined details and a magnetic grille, giving the speaker a clean, modern look. The high-quality MDF construction with redesigned internal bracing reduces cabinet vibration for a more uncolored and accurate sound.
