Signature Sound

Redesigned 50mm X-Series drivers, combined with hemp, cocobolo, and maple, elevate the musical experience to a new level. Maple performs the primary work in the housing structure, while hemp smooths out the upper and lower frequency response, and cocobolo is responsible for bringing extra punch to the sound.

**X-Series Drivers*

The fourth generation of X-series headphone drivers are here. Specifically tuned to work with the RS1x's wooden housing, this new headphone driver features a more robust magnetic motor, a lighter voice coil, and a re-shaped diaphragm. Redesigning these components has improved the efficiency of the 50mm headphone driver, reduced distortion values, and better preserves the tonal authenticity of the music.

New Cable Design

The Prestige X series features a completely redesigned cable, with comfort in mind, offering more durability and flexibility. The 8-conductor cable now has a very pleasant braided sleeve and a pure copper conductor inside, which improves the purity of the audio signal.

Hand-Built in Brooklyn

Like all previous models since 1953, the RS1x are also hand-built in Brooklyn.
