The car's original player must be: RCD200, RCD300, RCD 310, RCD500, RCD510
This kit allows you to install a 1-DIN or 2-DIN Alpine player in your car. The kit also includes an infotainment/steering wheel remote control adapter, which allows your car's original steering wheel buttons to work with the aftermarket player.
This kit is also suitable for cars that do not have original steering wheel buttons. The steering wheel remote control adapter in the kit acts as a CAN bus converter, which is also required by these cars that do not have steering wheel buttons.

Instrument cluster display
Your car's dashboard display is also connected to the player with the AH-KIT-VW02 adapter, and you will see radio channel information, information about the songs playing, and navigation guidance arrows on the screen. Navigation guidance only works if the player has built-in navigation. In addition, enabling the guidance arrows may require the car to be taken to a VW service center, where navigation will be added to the car's software information.
Parking sensors
If your car is equipped with factory-installed parking sensors, these will remain in use with Alpine. The new Alpine players display parking sensor information with even more accurate and detailed graphics.
Heating and air conditioning unit information
You'll get clear, detailed information on your Alpine display whenever you adjust the air conditioning or seat heaters. The display automatically turns on for a few seconds whenever you make adjustments.
