The G One is a highly versatile and compact two-way speaker, specifically designed for music listening, computer use, or compact home theater systems. Thanks to its active speaker technology, the G One can be connected directly to the line-level output connectors of, for example, a computer sound card, a portable MP3 player, a home theater amplifier, or other audio systems.

Developed in cooperation with designer Harri Koskinen, the G One offers a complete package of Genelec's cutting-edge technology: high-quality speaker drivers, power amplifiers, active crossovers, and electronic protection circuits ensure professional-level audio enjoyment in all conditions. Each Genelec G One comes standard with an Iso-PodTM (Isolation Positioner/DecouplerTM) table stand. The Iso-PodTM is an ingenious positioning stand that easily allows the speaker to be placed in either a vertical or horizontal position. It also enables easy aiming of the speaker towards the listener while acoustically and mechanically decoupling the speaker from the surface it is placed on.

 

The G One's bass response extends down to 67 Hz, and distortion at bass frequencies has been kept exceptionally low through careful reflex enclosure design. The speaker's good directivity characteristics and accurate reproduction, combined with its convenient size and versatile mounting options, enable the G One to be used in a wide variety of applications. The ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) feature ensures that power consumption remains as low as possible when the speaker is not in use. Once it automatically enters Standby mode, the speaker's power consumption is less than 0.5W.

 

Together with the Genelec F One subwoofer, the G One forms a very high-performance and excellent stereo or surround speaker combination.
