Genelec 8361A DSP Three-Way Loudspeaker

The largest model in The Ones series offers extremely wide dynamics, superior directivity, and stereo imaging, combined with a maximum sound pressure level of 118 decibels, making it suitable for small and medium-sized studios and listening distances of up to five meters.

All driver elements in the 8361 are new: two woofers capable of high sound pressure with very low distortion, and a new Minimum Diffraction Coaxial (MDC) coaxial driver. The coaxial driver, consisting of a tweeter and midrange element, provides excellent directivity, low distortion, and reproduction extending up to 40 kilohertz. The shape of the coaxial driver seamlessly connects with the Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) that covers the entire front of the 8361. Thanks to the exceptionally large waveguide, reproduction remains uncolored over an unusually wide listening area.

Like other active loudspeakers in The Ones series, the 8361 reduces listening fatigue and enables correct and consistent decision-making even during long work sessions. Sound image distortions that cause listening fatigue have been minimized. The 8361 truly excels when used with GLM software, which allows for the elimination of disruptive room acoustic problems and facilitates the creation of high-quality audio recordings in both traditional stereo format and modern immersive multichannel systems.
