20 years after the launch of the original 6040A, the updated 6040R features, for example, the same bass driver used in Genelec's professional models, a patented Class D amplifier, and integration with our GLM™ calibration software. This allows the 6040R to offer exceptionally clean acoustic performance, a wide frequency response, unparalleled sound quality and minimal distortion – even in challenging acoustic environments.

The 6040R is made of die-cast, recycled aluminum, and its sleek lines were created in collaboration with designer Harri Koskinen. Thanks to this design work, the speaker not only offers truthful, uncolored, and extremely high sound quality, but also stands out visually.
