GAS MAX S2

GAS's new MAX S2 is a brutal sub lineup that includes 12″ and 15″ drivers, with 2 x 2 ohm voice coils.
Compromises have been left out of this collection and this 15-inch "best of two" includes, among other things, a triple magnet (3 x 108oz), DVS2 voice coil cooling, double nomex lower suspensions, a really sturdy upper suspension that is glued and double stitched to the cone, three-inch full copper voice coils (2 x 2ohm), solid 6mm² speaker cables, etc. etc.
Thanks to all of this, the element has a robust 2500W RMS / 5000W Max power handling capacity!

Rugged, sturdier, MAX S2
The MAX S2 subwoofers feature a large top mount that is glued and double stitched to the cone. The top mount keeps the cone's trajectory linear and controlled throughout its entire playback range.
The cone is made of mica-reinforced paper pulp, with an IMPP injection-molded polypropylene dust cup in the middle, with a stylish GAS 3D logo.

New cooling
MAX S2 is equipped with DVS2 cooling, which effectively dissipates heat from the voice coil. The cone's travel has been increased and the risk of the coil bottoming has been minimized by increasing the space below the voice coil. The 2 x 2 ohm voice coils are 100% OFC full copper.

Fixed cables
The "Äs kakkoset" subwoofers have fixed 6mm² cables with a length of 80cm. The recommended enclosure for a 15" woofer is approximately 80 – 85 liters and the element is recommended to be used only in a reflex enclosure.
