A sturdy and really great-sounding 6.5″ subwoofer
The GAS MAX S1 range replaces the very popular GPP range, which received praise for its excellent price-quality ratio throughout its entire life cycle.
Now the recipe has been written to be even more delicious, as, among other things, the cone's range of motion has been increased, the cone has been stiffened, and the voice coil cooling has been further improved with DVS2 (Dual Ventilation System) technology.
In addition to the 6.5″ element, the GAS MAX S1 range includes 10″ , 12″ and 15″ subwoofers with 2 x 2 ohm voice coils.
Made to move air!
The MAX S1 collection features an IMPP (injection molded polypropylene) dust cup with a 3D GAS logo. The cone material is unpressed paper pulp, reinforced with mica minerals, making the cone strong and stable in control. The cone is glued to the top suspension and additionally secured by sewing.
The voice coil has more room to move than the previous model, which reduces the risk of the coil breaking in the extreme positions of the cone and enables more robust bass reproduction.
New cooling
GAS uses DVS2 technology in the new MAX S1 subwoofers to cool the voice coil. This reduces the risk of coil damage and the Dual Ventilation System minimizes the risk of coil burnout when you want to get the most out of the element, so to speak.
Tougher than ever, in every way!
Proper cooling, 2 x 30oz double magnets, double nomex lower suspensions ensure that when there is enough power available, the MAX-S1 element is guaranteed to deliver low-end reproduction throughout the cabin!
