2 x 2 ohm High Performance element
The GAS MAX B1-18 subwoofer enclosure features a metal-bodied and sturdy 8″ subwoofer. The driver is designed specifically for this enclosure and follows much the same design as the GAS MAX S1 series subwoofers.
The dual magnet metal-bodied driver cone is made of unpressed paper pulp with mica reinforcement. The driver has two two-ohm coils, so the sub can be used with a one-ohm, four-ohm or 2 x 2-ohm load!
The two-inch driver has a 2.5″ voice coil and there are sturdy protective bars in front of the driver.

Very compact, any way you like!
The GAS MAX B1-18 is very compact in size. The case volume is only 17 liters and the case is easy to place in any car.
The enclosure comes with separate mounting feet, so you can also use the enclosure with the driver facing down, and with this installation method you get an extra boost in bass reproduction.

Double-coil element
The MAX B1-18 has two two-ohm coils.
The subwoofer is defaulted to 2 x 2 ohm loads, but the sub comes with jumpers that allow you to easily change the sub to one or four ohm loads.
If you end up with a one-ohm load, make sure your amplifier is also capable of operating with a one-ohm load.
