GAS MAD PT1-254 horn tweeter

The GAS MAD PT1-254 is a high-efficiency horn tweeter that delivers plenty of sound with low amplifier power. Its high 95 dB sensitivity makes it well-suited for impressive car audio systems.

Incredible sensitivity

The tweeter features a one-inch voice coil, a rugged cast frame, and a wave-patterned horn. This design improves sound quality and broadens the sound field over a wider area.

The wires connect directly to the voice coil, eliminating the need for separate terminals. This reduces the space required for installation.

Crossover

For optimal reproduction, we recommend a high-pass filter at 5000 Hz. This prevents the tweeter from having to reproduce frequencies that are too low for it.

The package includes 3.3 µF capacitors for the crossover. The capacitors come pre-wired to the speaker cables.
