Instead of standard rubber or plastic sleeves, 4Connect ring terminals include a length of high-quality heat shrink tubing. Heat shrink tubing protects the connection from oxidation much better than a loose sleeve.

Many manufacturers use brass, which conducts less well than copper, for cost reasons. However, for high currents, copper is clearly the better option to ensure the best contact and conductivity. All 4Connect ring and spade terminals from 20 mm² upwards are made of 100% copper and are rhodium-plated to ensure long-lasting contact quality.
