4Connect ring terminals come with a piece of high-quality heat shrink tubing instead of a normal rubber or plastic sleeve. Heat shrink tubing protects the connection from oxidation significantly better than a loose sleeve.
Many manufacturers use brass, which conducts worse than copper, for cost reasons. However, for high currents, copper is clearly the better option to ensure the best contact and conductivity. All 4Connect ring and spade terminals from 20 mm² upwards are made of 100% copper and are rhodium-plated to ensure long-lasting contact quality.
