The AVC-X3900H is built for immersive surround systems: it powers up to nine speaker channels and supports 11.1 channel processing and control of up to four subwoofers, enabling larger configurations with external amplification. This flexibility supports, for example, 7.1.4 or 5.1.6 configurations, providing more options for surround and height channels as the system grows. With the included microphone, MultEQ XT32 measures and analyzes the output of each speaker (including subwoofers) at up to eight measurement positions, producing precise digital filters that optimize the frequency balance and time-domain response of each channel. Audyssey Dynamic Volume smooths out distracting volume jumps (like TV commercials), allowing you to listen at lower levels and still enjoy clear dialogue, music, and effects. Audyssey Dynamic EQ provides full clarity at all listening levels, and Audyssey Low Frequency Containment uses advanced psychoacoustic algorithms to deliver a rich frequency balance, including the sensation of deep bass, without disturbing neighbors or other family members. Audyssey Sub EQ HT provides individual DSP tailoring for each subwoofer in two-subwoofer systems to ensure accurate bass response and extend as low as possible. Additionally, the separately purchased Audyssey MultEQ Editor app (available for purchase in app stores) allows experienced users to go "under the hood" for more precise audio adjustment and customization. The app is available for both iOS and Android.
Two Speaker Setup Memory
Save two speaker and Audyssey settings and switch between them on the fly, allowing you to freely optimize your listening experience according to content or listening environment. Saved settings include amplifier operating mode, speaker settings, distances, volumes, crossover frequencies, bass management selection, front channel setting, 2-channel signal playback settings, and graphical EQ adjustment (when Audyssey is not in use).
