The Digital Designs design team spent over two years developing these state-of-the-art elements, making these speakers the best DD Audio has ever released, despite their affordable price.

MIDWOOFER:
The 6.5″ midwoofer has a mounting depth of only 43mm, making it suitable for installation almost anywhere. The mounting depth has been achieved by using a new cast body and moving the magnet to the inside of the body.

This redesigned midwoofer features a curved, shallow composite cone with an asymmetrical carbon/fiberglass weave that is stiff yet extremely lightweight.

TREBLE:
The best thing about this series is the state-of-the-art 20mm tweeter with an extremely lightweight and highly rigid hemispherical diaphragm made from an advanced magnesium-aluminum alloy with a thickness of only 0.035 mm.

This tweeter also has a really large suspension, which allows for a longer range of motion than traditional tweeters. Thanks to the new cnc-coned body, and the above-mentioned features, the tweeter's resonance frequency has been increased to 580 Hz and the frequency response extends all the way to 40 kHz!!

The C-series stand-alone series is available with crossovers or as active sets. The crossover frequency is 1600 Hz, which allows for the utilization of the very wide treble range.

NOTE! The XO model designation means that a crossover filter is supplied with the kit.
