CAN Bus Adapter Seat/Skoda/VW

Enables the installation of an aftermarket radio in many different Volkswagen, Skoda, and Seat models.

The AH-IGN-VW1 can convert the car's CAN bus voltage into 12V ACC power, allowing the radio to turn on and off with the ignition key, just like the car's original radio. The AH-IGN-VW1 is Plug & Play, requiring no modifications to the car's original wiring. The Quadlock connector fits the car's Quadlock connector, and the ISO connectors are connected to the aftermarket radio.

VAG group cars often require an antenna adapter with a 12V ignition wire. The AH-IGN-VW1 has an open blue wire that provides the necessary ignition signal for the antenna adapter. If you do not connect the blue wire, remember to carefully insulate it.

If the car has original steering wheel controls for the radio, we recommend an installation kit that includes all the necessary parts for installing the radio. The AH-IGN-VW1 adapter is not needed with installation kits, as the steering wheel control interface included with the kits can convert the CAN bus voltage into 12V ACC power.
