BLAM SIGNATURE 165.80+
BLAM's Signature series encapsulates Guy Bonneville's over 25 years of experience in designing and manufacturing car speakers. Signature is exactly what BLAM means by "French Sound."
The speakers in the Signature series have been designed from start to finish in BLAM's laboratory, and the products are hand-assembled in France. All components of the speaker sets are individually tested and paired.

Mid-woofers
The Signature 165.80+ component set's 6.5″ cast-frame WS 6.80 mid-woofer features a very stiff but lightweight carbon fiber cone, IIR top surround, Conex bottom surround, and a 28mm voice coil. The mid-woofers are very sensitive (94.3dB), so the Signature 165.80+ does not require high amplifier power.

Tweeters
The TS 20HR tweeter from the Signature 165.80+ series is physically one of the smallest on the market. The most important criteria in the tweeter's design were uncolored sound and clarity, but in addition, the component was desired to be as small as possible, keeping in mind the tight tweeter locations in new cars. The tweeters also come with elegant bullet-shaped surface-mount cups for surface mounting.

Passive Crossovers
The Signature 165.80+ series comes with a compact crossover for each speaker. This greatly simplifies installation, especially when the mid-woofer is mounted, for example, in the door and the tweeter on the dashboard.
If you are installing the mid-woofers in the front doors, we strongly recommend CTK Doorkit damping sets, which allow you to easily dampen the front doors during speaker installation.
