The BLAM 165RS-CRAFTER / T6.1 is a component speaker system designed and assembled in Finland for the Volkswagen Crafter and Transporter T6.1.
The speaker system is based on BLAM's very popular 6.5" 165RS component set from France, which has been modified to replace Volkswagen's original speakers.
Midwoofers
Installing the speaker system requires no modifications to the car or its structures; all components fit 100% directly in place of the original speakers and use the original connectors.
The 6.5" midwoofer features a paper cone, butyl rubber surround, and a powerful 85 x 17mm magnet. These ensure high power handling and a sensitivity of 95dB.
Tweeter
The tweeter is a fabric dome tweeter with a 20mm copper/aluminum voice coil and a neodymium magnet, fitting directly into the original tweeter location of the VW Crafter and T6.1.
Crossovers
Installing the component set is easy because there are no separate crossovers; the high-pass filter is integrated into the tweeter's cable.
