Auto-Connect 6.5" Speaker Water Shield

The Auto-Connect 6.5" water shield prevents the speaker from getting wet if, for example, rain or wash water flows into the car door. The silicone protective ring is installed around the speaker and fits all 6.5" speakers. The ring seals the speaker tightly against the mounting surface, and the protective ring also seals against the door panel.

Included are damping mats to be glued behind the installation location, which reduce standing waves, bringing more precision to the mid-bass.

The material is soft silicone, so it can easily be cut with scissors if needed.

Note: Water flowing into the speaker almost invariably breaks the speaker sooner or later. Speaker failure due to water ingress is never covered by the speaker's warranty!
