Planar Magnetic Technology

Audeze is globally renowned for its Planar Magnetic headphones, where the traditional system is replaced by an incredibly thin diaphragm. When an electrical signal passes over the diaphragm, the magnetic system causes the diaphragm to move, converting the signal into audible sound. The ultra-light diaphragm reacts extremely quickly, providing an excellent transient response across the entire frequency range. Planar magnetic technology reduces phase and distortion issues typical of dynamic drivers, improving sound clarity and reproduction accuracy.

Refined Design

No expense has been spared on the redesigned and hand-stitched ear pads, covered in genuine leather. The headphone ear cups have been updated with a precisely contoured geometry that enhances comfort and reduces pressure around the ears, even during extended listening sessions.
