The redesigned Alpine SXE speakers are a continuation of the very popular SXE Custom Fit speaker line, which is intended to replace the original car speakers. All SXE speakers have a low profile, so they fit in the original speaker locations of most cars.
The new SXE speakers feature a redesigned paper cone for the midbass and a completely new rubber upper suspension. This allows for better control of the cone's movement, which is particularly evident in the improvement of low frequencies and midrange.
