Whether your car is used for work, as a camper/RV, or for transporting a large family, this speaker system fits your car perfectly. The SPC-106TRA7-2 is compatible with all Ford Transits from 2014 onwards, regardless of whether the car has an aftermarket head unit or any of the factory-installed head units. 

Designed to be seen and heard

The most visible change in the cabin is the truly fine tweeters. The original plastic grilles are removed from the A-pillars and replaced with grilles machined from stainless steel, which take into account both elegance and the acoustic properties required by the tweeter element.

Installation

The mid-bass drivers are installed in the original speaker locations, and their installation does not require any changes to the car's wiring or structures. In addition to basic tools, you will need a drill and several different drill bits. These are listed in more detail in the very clear step-by-step installation guide included with the speaker set.

Clear and effortless treble

The chambered 28mm silk dome tweeters reproduce even the highest notes accurately and effortlessly. In addition to their stylish design, the tweeter locations also take sound quality into account, with a sufficiently open metal mesh and optimal tweeter aiming. The tweeters' response extends beyond twenty-five kilohertz.

HAMR suspension

Alpine's HAMR Surround (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) allows for maximum cone excursion while maintaining excellent control. The result is powerful and punchy bass even at high volumes without distortion.

Cast aluminum frame and large magnets

The updated SPC-106TRA7-2 mid-bass drivers feature cast frames, providing excellent rigidity and allowing the use of heavier magnets without frame distortion. This allowed our engineers to use larger magnets than previous generations while maintaining the same mounting depth.

Thanks to the pole piece ventilation opening, the voice coil benefits from improved cooling. The ventilation effectively removes warm air and prevents overheating. The result? The speaker can withstand high power levels for long periods without compromising sound quality. Additionally, reduced thermal stress extends component life.

Dynamic mid-bass

Alpine-designed dynamic mid-bass drivers produce a wide frequency response that reveals all the details of a song. Your favorites are reproduced with powerful mid-bass and astonishing accuracy.

The included steel adapter rings ensure a firm and vibration-free attachment to the door frame. Integrated silicone seals, in turn, ensure that the internal parts of the door remain perfectly protected from moisture.
