The SPC-106T61-2 is compatible with all T6.1 models, regardless of whether the car has an aftermarket head unit or any of the factory-installed head units. The speaker system is also suitable for cars with curtains for the windshield (California T6.1).

Designed to be seen and heard

The most visible change in the cabin is the truly excellent tweeters. The original plastic grilles are removed from the A-pillars and replaced with grilles machined from stainless steel, which have taken into account both elegance and the acoustic properties required by the tweeter element.

Easy and quick to install

The components of the Alpine speaker system utilize only original installation locations. This ensures effortless installation and allows for the factory-installed system to be restored – which is an excellent feature, for example, in leased cars that must be returned in their original condition.

All connectors are Plug-and-Play compatible with Volkswagen's original wiring and connections. Installation can be done quickly with standard household tools, and the package includes clear step-by-step installation instructions.

Clear and fatigue-free treble

The 28mm silk dome tweeters with chamber construction reproduce even the highest notes accurately and without fatigue. In addition to their stylish appearance, the tweeter locations also consider sound quality, with a sufficiently open metal mesh and optimal tweeter aiming. The tweeters reproduce frequencies up to over twenty-five kilohertz.

HAMR Surround

Alpine's HAMR Surround (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) allows for maximum cone excursion while maintaining excellent control. The result is powerful and punchy bass even at high volumes without distortion.

Die-cast aluminum frame and large magnets

The updated SPC-106T61-2 mid-bass drivers feature die-cast frames, providing excellent rigidity and allowing for the use of heavier magnets without frame distortion. This allowed our engineers to use larger magnets than previous generations while maintaining the same mounting depth.

Thanks to the pole core ventilation hole, the voice coil benefits from improved cooling. The ventilation effectively removes warm air and prevents overheating. The result? The speaker can withstand high power levels for long periods without compromising sound quality. Additionally, reduced thermal stress extends the lifespan of the components.

Dynamic mid-bass

Alpine's engineered dynamic mid-bass drivers produce a wide frequency response, revealing all the details of a song. Your favorites will be reproduced with powerful mid-bass and amazing accuracy.

The included steel adapter rings ensure a firm and vibration-free attachment to the door frame. Integrated silicone gaskets, in turn, ensure that the internal parts of the door remain perfectly protected from moisture.
