• Patented magnetic solution that creates a symmetrical magnetic field and minimizes distortion. (US Pat#6639993)
• Patented voice coil cooling that draws cool air from behind the magnet to the voice coil, while hot air is removed from the voice coil through the enclosure's ventilation channels. (US Pat #7684585)
• Patented H.A.M.R. top suspension, which keeps the cone's movement better under control than traditional suspension. (US Pat #8208677)
• Patented progressive bottom suspension with integrated silver leads, which prevents potential mechanical noise. (US Pat #6810988)

H.A.M.R.
High Amplitude Multi-Roll (H.A.M.R.) is Alpine's patented top suspension. Compared to traditional suspension, H.A.M.R. suspension keeps the cone's movement significantly more linear, especially at higher volumes when conventional suspension begins to lose control.

Carbon fiber/polypropylene cone
The S-Series subwoofer cone is made from a combination of carbon fiber and polypropylene. Thanks to the lightweight yet rigid cone, the 10-inch driver's reproduction extends down to 25 Hz, delivering distortion-free and enjoyable bass across its entire operating range, regardless of the music genre.

Dual voice coils and proper cooling
The Alpine S2-W10D2 features two 2-ohm voice coils. The subwoofer comes with jumpers, allowing you to easily create your desired configuration. The spring-loaded terminals are positioned side by side, making connection even easier.
The terminals accommodate speaker cable up to 8 mm².

The perfect companion for S2 amplifiers
The best amplifier for the S-Series subwoofer is the Alpine S2-A60M monoblock amplifier from the same model range.

Build the exact system you want for your car. S-Series subwoofers are available in 8″, 10″, and 12″ versions, with 2 x 2-ohm and 2 x 4-ohm models available for each size.
