Alpine S2-S80C 8" Component Speaker System Hi-Res

New 2023 S-Series lineup
The completely redesigned S-Series now brings Hi-Res Audio certified speakers to an entirely new price point. The speakers incorporate design principles from Alpine's more expensive F#1 Status and R2-Series lineups, allowing the S2-S80C to reproduce even the smallest musical details with remarkable accuracy and naturalness.

Hi-Res Audio certified
The Alpine S2-S80C is Hi-Res Audio certified, and the tweeter's frequency response extends up to 40kHz. Ease of installation has also been considered for the tweeter, and highly versatile mounting accessories are included. The tweeter itself is very compact when the mounting adapters are removed, ensuring installation is possible in "virtually any car".

Even more precise reproduction
The S2-S80C mid-bass cone material is a unique combination of polypropylene, fiberglass, and mica, which makes the cone lightweight and allows the driver to handle higher power.

HAMR Surround
Thanks to Alpine's HAMR (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround, the cone's excursion remains linear at all volume levels, resulting in very controlled bass reproduction even at higher volumes.

Versatile installation options
The S2-S80C is designed for installation in the original speaker locations of as many different cars as possible. The tweeter elements feature a flush-mount collar, which can be removed, allowing the tweeter to be placed in the original tweeter location in almost all cases.
The tweeter's high-pass filter is integrated into the speaker wire, so no separate steps are required for crossover installation.
