The completely redesigned S-Series brings Hi-Res Audio certified speakers to a whole new price point. The speakers incorporate design principles from Alpine's more expensive F#1 Status and R2-Series, allowing the S2-S40C to reproduce even the smallest musical details with exceptional accuracy and naturalness.

Hi-Res Audio Certified
The Alpine S2-S40C is Hi-Res Audio certified, with the component tweeter reaching frequencies up to 40kHz. The tweeter is designed for easy installation, including versatile mounting accessories, and its physical dimensions are very compact when the mounting adapters are removed, making it suitable for installation in "any car."

Even More Accurate Reproduction
The S2-S40C mid-bass cone material is a unique blend of polypropylene, fiberglass, and mica, making the cone lightweight and allowing the speaker to handle higher power.

HAMR Surround
Thanks to Alpine's HAMR (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround, the cone's excursion remains linear at all volume levels, resulting in highly controlled bass reproduction even at higher volumes.

Versatile Installation Options
The S2-S40C is designed for installation in the original speaker locations of as many different cars as possible. The tweeters feature a removable flush-mount collar, allowing them to be placed in most cases in the car's original tweeter location.
The tweeter's high-pass filter is integrated into the speaker cable, so no separate installation of crossovers is required.

Note: Adapters are included, also for 4″ x 6″ mounting locations.
