Alpine S2-S40C 4" Component Speaker System Hi-Res

New 2023 S-Series Collection
The completely redesigned S-Series collection now brings Hi-Res Audio certified speakers to a completely new price point. The speakers make use of the design familiar from Alpine's more expensive F#1 Status and R2-Series collections, and the S2-S40C reproduces even the smallest details of music with exceptional accuracy and naturalness.

Hi-Res Audio certified
The Alpine S2-S40C is Hi-Res Audio certified, and the separate-series tweeters reproduce up to 40kHz. Ease of installation has also been taken into account in the tweeter, and highly versatile installation accessories are included. The tweeter is also extremely small in physical dimensions when the mounting brackets are removed, so it can be installed “in any car”.

More accurate reproduction
The S2-S40C midbass cone material is a unique combination of polypropylene, glass fibre and mica coating, which makes the cone lightweight and allows the element to handle higher power levels.

HAMR suspension
Thanks to Alpine's HAMR (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) suspension, the cone's excursion remains linear at all volume levels, ensuring highly controlled bass reproduction even at higher volumes.

Versatile installation options
The S2-S40C is designed to fit the original speaker locations in as many different cars as possible. The tweeter elements feature a removable mounting flange, and in almost all cases, the tweeter can be positioned in the car's original tweeter location.
The tweeter's crossover is integrated into the speaker cable, so installing the crossovers requires no additional steps.
