The third generation of Alpine's R-Series is here!

Alpine has revamped its entire R-Series speaker lineup, and all new models are now Hi-Res Audio certified, with a frequency response extending up to 40 kilohertz!
For the first time in Alpine's history, the R-Series now includes a three-way component system, which has been highly requested in recent years. Two-way component systems are available in two different options: Standard and Professional.
In addition to component systems, 6.5″ and 6x9″ coaxial speakers are also available.

6.5″ coaxial speaker
The R2-S65 is the new R-Series 6.5″ two-way speaker. The completely redesigned coaxial boasts an extremely wide frequency response, from 65 Hz up to 40 kHz.

Glass fiber reinforced cone
New to the R-Series mid-bass drivers are glass fiber reinforced cones. The cone material is extremely light and stiff, resulting in very precise sound reproduction.

Composite frames and large magnets
All new R-Series "Standard" models (R2-S65, R2-S65C, R2-S69 and R2-S69C) feature composite frames, while "Pro" models have cast frames.
The new models have significantly larger magnets than previous R-Series models, yet the mounting depth has been kept the same.

Hi-Res Audio tweeters
The new magnesium-dome tweeters reproduce even the smallest details of music with exceptional accuracy, with a frequency response extending up to 40kHz.

HAMR surround
Alpine's HAMR (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround ensures linear cone excursion at all volumes, resulting in very controlled bass reproduction even at higher volumes.

New protective grilles
The third-generation R-Series protective grilles are both robust and exceptionally stylish. The grilles are designed so that they do not increase the overall outer diameter of the speakers.
