Alpine's Legendary R-Series
Alpine R-Series includes amplifiers, subwoofers, and component and coaxial speakers. Over the years, the R-Series has become a concept in itself for those seeking the best possible sound quality, performance, and reliability for their car audio.
The new R-Series amplifiers further reinforced this perception.
The R2-A75M is a Class D mono amplifier designed for subwoofer use.
The amplifier's installability and usability are even easier, as compared to the previous model, the new R2-A75M is physically smaller than its predecessor, and all controls are located under a cover on top of the amplifier.
Smaller "Footprint"
The R2-A75M is 15% smaller than its predecessor (R-A75M), yet offers the same power as its predecessor.
Versatile Adjustment Options
Under the R2-A75M's cover, you'll find all the amplifier's controls. The Subsonic filter allows you to cut off the lowest frequencies (8Hz-40Hz), and the low-pass filter's adjustment range is 50-400 Hz. Both the Subsonic and low-pass filter have a slope of 24dB. In addition, the amplifier features a Bass EQ, which allows you to boost (0 – +12dB) the subwoofer level at 50 Hz.
Easier Installability
The amplifier's design also took into account installability and usability. All power, speaker, and RCA connections are on the same side, and all amplifier controls are located under a cover on top of the amplifier. In addition, the amplifier's required "footprint" or area has been reduced by 15% compared to the previous generation R-Series amplifier.
The amplifier also does not have separate mounting feet; instead, the amplifier's mounting holes are integrated into the amplifier's chassis.
RUX-Knob2
The Alpine R2-A75M is compatible with the optional RUX-Knob2 level controller.
