Alpine KIT-HALO-G7
The KIT-HALO-G7 is an installation kit for installing an Alpine iLX-F115D, iLX-F905D or iNE-F904D head unit in a VW Golf.
You won't lose your reversing camera or parking sensors
If your car has a Volkswagen original reversing camera and/or original parking sensors, the KIT-HALO-G7 supports these functions. If desired, you can also view both the sensor and camera displays simultaneously on the Alpine head unit screen.
Climate control display
When you adjust the climate control in your VW Golf, Alpine displays this information on the large screen, indicating, among other things, the driver and passenger side temperatures, heated seat information, and fan speed.
The information appears on the screen automatically for a few seconds whenever a climate control setting is changed.
Instrument cluster display
The KIT-HALO-G7 also supports the MFD display in the car's instrument cluster. You can view, for example, radio channel names and information.
In addition, the instrument cluster shows navigation guidance arrows (only with the INE-F904D's built-in navigation, not with CarPlay / AndroidAuto navigation).
Car settings management
When replacing the factory-installed head unit in a VW Golf, it is especially important not to lose the car settings controlled by the original head unit. Alpine offers a unique solution for this, allowing you to modify car settings from the touchscreen of your new head unit.*
*) If the original head unit has traffic sign recognition, this function will be disabled.

Original steering wheel controls
The KIT-HALO-G7 also supports your car's original steering wheel controls. You can perform basic functions without taking your hands off the steering wheel, such as muting the head unit, changing the source or radio channel, adjusting the volume, etc.
Compatible head units
The KIT-HALO-G7 is compatible with the following Alpine head units: iLX-F115D, iLX-F905D and INE-F904D
Original microphone
If your car has Volkswagen's own hands-free microphone, the KIT-HALO-G7 allows you to connect it to the Alpine, which simplifies and speeds up installation.
Note: If your car does not have an original microphone, you will need a microphone (part number: 3BO 035 711 B B41) and a KWE-901G7MIC adapter cable.
Two USB inputs
The Alpine KIT-HALO-G7 comes with a USB/Aux connection to replace the car's original USB connection. This allows you to use the USB connection as you are accustomed to with the original head unit.

- Cars with eCall emergency call function require the 1424-28 adapter
- Cars without a factory-installed HF microphone require an original microphone (part number: 3BO 035 711 B B41) and a KWE-901G7MIC adapter cable.
- The KIT-HALO-G7 does not support traffic sign recognition from the original head unit.
- The KIT-HALO-G7 is not compatible with the following models: VW Golf Sportsvan, VW e-Golf, VW Golf GTE and cars with Active Info Display in the instrument cluster and/or Dynaudio Sound System
